Dr. DeCosmo prides himself on looking deeper into medical issues and maladies for the root cause of the problem. This is different from the “pill for every ill” that is rampant in the insurance based medical system today, where a quick drug fix is just a band aid. Often times, the original issue is never resolved. That is why at the office Dr. DeCosmo has gotten off the medical insurance treadmill, and stresses quality over quantity.
Office visits can be paid by:

- credit card
The cost of the visit is based on time spent in consultation with Dr. DeCosmo. At the end of the visit, you will get a complete statement with all the information necessary to turn in to your insurance. You may be able to get partial or even full reimbursement from your health insurance. Regular Medicare is a “retainer fee system” due to government regulations. Please call the office for details.
Laboratory tests, x-rays and most other studies are covered by your insurance as Dr. DeCosmo orders them. If you do not have health insurance, we get labs at a discounted rate and pass that savings on to you. So please ask up about that service. Sometimes the lab fees that we charge through the office are cheaper than labs through the insurance!
